IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE SHUNT DID NOT DRAIN CEREBROSPINAL FLUID. THE SHUNT WAS REPOSITIONED MULTIPLE TIMES AS WELL AS THE VALVE WAS PUMPED TO ENCOURAGE DRAINAGE WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. IT WAS STATED THE DEVICE WAS REPLACED WITH ANOTHER MANUFACTURER'S DEVICE.
