UPON VIEWING X-RAYS, THE SURGEON BELIEVED THE STEM HAD COME LOOSE AND OPTED TO REVISE THE FEMORAL COMPONENT. IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE STEM WAS IN FACT LOOSE AND THE SURGEON WAS ABLE TO REMOVE WITH THE THREADED HANDLE AND SLAP HAMMER. THE SURGEON ALSO WANTED TO REMOVE THE 52 X 32 LIPPED LINER THAT THE SURGEON HAD IMPLANTED AND EXCHANGE IT FOR A 52 X 36 NEUTRAL LINER. THE SURGEON FELT THE PATIENT WOULD BENEFIT FROM IMPLANTING THE COMPETITOR. DOI: (B)(6) 2021. DOR: (B)(6) 2021, AFFECTED SIDE: LEFT HIP.

IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE PATIENT DISLOCATED WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF INDEX SURGERY. WE WENT BACK IN AND REVISED THE STEM, CHANGING THE VERSION. WE ALSO WENT FROM A NEUTRAL LINER TO A + 4 10 DEG TO HELP WITH STABILITY. THE CUP HAD APPROPRIATE VERSION AND INCLINATION SO WE CHOSE TO RETAIN ORIGINAL CUP. STEM WAS LOOSE AND HAD TURNED WHICH CHANGED VERSION. PATIENT WAS STABLE AFTER NEW IMPLANTS WERE INSERTED. DOI: (B)(6) 2021 - DOR: (B)(6) 2021 (UNKNOWN SIDE).
