ACCORDING TO THE REPORTER, DURING ESOPHAGUS PROCEDURE, WHEN THE DOCTOR OPENED THE PACKAGE, HE NOTICED THAT THE THREAD WAS WHITE AND BROKE INTO PIECES. HYDROLYSIS WAS PROCEEDING. THEY THEN USED ANOTHER DEVICE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THERE WAS NO PATIENT INJURY.
