  ACCORDING TO THE REPORTER DURING AN OPEN PACE MAKER IMPLANTATION, WHILE ON FIXATION OF THE PACE MAKER, THE NEEDLE CAME LOOSE FROM THE THREAD AND FELL IN TO THE PATIENT CAVITY. TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, AN ENDOSCOPY WAS DONE TO LOCATE AND RETRIEVE THE DETACHED NEEDLE.
