  ACCORDING TO THE REPORTER, "AT THE END OF AN OPEN PROCEDURE TO SUTURE THE WOUND AFTER TOOTH EXTRACTION USING THE KNOT TYING TECHNIQUE, THE NEEDLE BROKE. ANOTHER DEVICE FROM THE SAME LOT WAS USED TO COMPLETE THE CASE. THERE WAS NO PATIENT INJURY.
