THE USER FACILITY REPORTED THAT AN EMPLOYEE OBTAINED A STEAM BURN TO THEIR HAND WHILE OPENING THE DOOR TO THEIR AMSCO 400 STEAM STERILIZER FOLLOWING A DAILY AIR REMOVAL TEST (DART). THE EMPLOYEE SOUGHT MEDICAL TREATMENT AND APPLIED A TOPICAL OINTMENT.
