  MEDTRONIC RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT DURING USE OF A CUSTOM TUBING PACK, THE CUSTOMER REPORTED THAT THE VENT VALVE FAILED AND THE BLOOD LEAKED ONTO THE FLOOR. THE DEVICE WAS REPLACED WITH A 1/4X1/4 CONNECTOR TO COMPLETE THE PROCEDURE. THERE WAS NO ADVERSE PATIENT EFFECT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT.
