  INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED INDICATING THAT A PATIENT WITH A SMITHS MEDICAL PORTEX® BIVONA® ADULT TTS¿ TRACHEOSTOMY TUBE MAKES A WHISTLING NOISE WITH BREATHING. A BACKUP TRACHEOSTOMY (TRACH) WAS REPORTED TO BE ON HAND. THERE WERE NO REPORTED ADVERSE PATIENT EFFECTS.
