It was reported that a Lead Integrity Alert (LIA) triggered on the Right Ventricular (RV) lead due to High Rate Non-Sustained episodes and short ventricular intervals. Capture thresholds were noted to be high and the lead was oversensing. Another LIA triggered the following day and noise was observed. A new spike in Non-Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia episodes was noted. The lead was capped and replaced. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

The patient reached Elective Replacement Indicator (ERI) at a normal interval, and the decision was made to perform a lead revision at that time. The RV lead was explanted and replaced. The patient outcome was reported as alive with no injury.
