Quick summary
This Quadra Allure PM3542 is a St. Jude Medical pacemaker that helps the heart beat in sync. The 46 reports mostly describe the battery running down sooner than expected, the device picking up signals that aren't real heartbeats so it skips or pauses pacing, and leads that shifted or wouldn't tighten properly during implant surgery, sometimes requiring the device and lead to be taken out and replaced. Seventeen reports involved an injury and none involved a death. No recalls name this device.
