  • InjurySep 21, 2026High impedance; Charging Problem

It was reported that the patient was unable to have a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) due to concern for abnormal lead impedance from the Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) device. It was also reported that the patients Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) was no longer keeping a charge. The patient underwent a revision procedure wherein the IPG, SCS leads and Clik anchor were replaced. The patient was reported to be doing well post operatively. The explanted device components were not returned due to facility policy.
