  IT WAS REPORTED THAT A PATIENT UNDERWENT A LAPAROSCOPIC HERNIA REPAIR PROCEDURE ON (B)(6) 2023 AND SUTURE WAS USED. DURING THE LAPAROSCOPIC HERNIA REPAIR, THE NEEDLE BROKE OFF INTRA ABDOMINAL AS THE SURGEON WAS TRYING TO TAKE IT OUT. HALF OF THE NEEDLE HAD TO BE FISHED OUT. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WAS REQUESTED.
