IT WAS REPORTED THAT A PATIENT UNDERWENT AN UNKNOWN PROCEDURE ON AN UNKNOWN DATE AND SUTURE WAS USED. DURING AN UNKNOWN SURGERY, THE PRODUCT WAS USED FOR WOUND CLOSURE. THE NEEDLE WAS BROKEN. NO REPORTS OF NEEDLE FALLING INSIDE THE BODY. IT WAS A CONTROL RELEASE NEEDLE. ANOTHER PRODUCT WAS USED TO COMPLETE THE CASE. NO SAMPLE WILL BE RETURNED. THERE WERE NO ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES TO THE PATIENT. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED AT THIS TIME.
