Quick summary

This Medtronic Sensia SEDR01 is an implantable pacemaker, a battery-powered generator placed under the skin to keep the heart beating at a steady rhythm. The 36 reports mostly describe the battery draining earlier than expected or the device no longer sending data so it could be checked, sometimes alongside slow heart rhythms, and in a number of cases the unit was removed and replaced. Two reports describe deaths and 29 describe injuries. There are no recalls naming this device.
