The FDA's MAUDE database contains 3 adverse event reports that list this exact device (DI 00880304591530), received between Jan 15, 2020 and May 10, 2021 — classified as 3 injuries.

1 other recall cover devices cleared under the same FDA submission (K140652, K193038); they may or may not involve this specific model.

Reports come from manufacturers, hospitals and patients and are not verified by the FDA. A report does not prove the device caused the event, and counts can't be used to compare devices or estimate failure rates. UPON REASSESSMENT OF THE REPORTED EVENT, THE STEM WAS DETERMINED TO BE NOT REPORTABLE. AS THE HUMERUS FRACTURED DUE TO THE PATIENT FALLING, THE HUMERAL STEM DID NOT FAIL OR FRACTURE, AND THE DEVICE OR PROCEDURE DID NOT CAUSE OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE FALL (THE PATIENT DOES NOT BEAR WEIGHT ON THE ARM TO STAND/WALK). THE SURGEON ALSO INDICATED THAT THE FALL WAS NOT DUE TO THE PROSTHESIS; THEREFORE, THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT REPORTABLE.
